We used statistics revealing increased enquiries about teacher training to point to this new trend and held recruitment events opposite Lehman Brothers. Case studies focused on the quality of new additions to the teaching stock and competition amongst high-flyers to become a teacher.
The 'Bankers to Teachers' story has secured continuous coverage for 18 months across national print and broadcast media and passed into the national psyche. The campaign culminated in the TDA meeting its annual teacher recruitment targets for the first time.
